I think you CAN continue to engage with children's entertainment but once you're an adult it should not be the bulk of your consumption. Family friendly could still be robust enough for a majority of people, I think, or certainly to be a preponderance of consumption if one so chose without an issue.

I think we need to be better at distinguishing "for children" and "family friendly". These are two very different concepts. Family friendly works are at least meaningfully accessible to children, whereas children's entertainment is *for* children and may or may not have value for adults.
