I’ve spent 2 hours over the past 24 dispatching a stripped screw that had a metal “skirt” around it from a broken shower curtain rod. Pliers, tin snips, rubber bands w/ drill, pry bar, and 2 different hack saws. The hack saws finally won. I scolded the screw and told it that it was a cheap fucker.

I am once again saying that this shooting did not have an ideological motive. This wasn't a hate crime or terrorism because there was no ideological purpose. It was simply someone radicalized in TCC online spaces to idolize mass shooters and to conduct their own.

Had a solo hour’s drive today so I was surfing radio stations. I stopped to listen to the SRN News update on one of the bajillion Christian stations in the area. It was an excellent reminder of the enormous gulf in how stuff gets reported.
Last night, about 60 Chicago activists and organizers gathered to discuss Trump's threatened military occupation of our city. Our convo centered around a worksheet that some friends and I put together this week—a tool that can help us build and strengthen local networks of support and protection.
