The problem I have with most general art AI stuff is people keep using verbiage like "oh its a TOOL" to help de-vilify it themselves. They all KNOW what it is, they just use the word 'tool' to reassure themselves that it's not wrong when it is.

the fun part about burning out is that you find new ways to have your brain betray you harder
- Butterflies need to be released after they hatch and dry for about 17-24 hours. If you have any other questions about monarchs, how to protect them, bug facts in general, I've been spending a ton of time with these guys now and have been reading/researching! Ask away if you want <3
- I did jar method some at the beginning after not knowing what to do beyond "ahhh i have to help these guys". I swapped to the net enclosure and had the best success. You just put milkweed in the enclosure and you're golden.
- A net enclosure outdoors is the best method to protect caterpillars from outside predators, which cats have a lot of: wasps, tachnid flies being the biggest ones. They also rely on the temperatures of the outside to figure out when its food time and rest time, which I learned after jarring some.
- Anyone can help support monarch butterflies! All you need is a native milkweed plant in your yard. They ONLY eat milkweed, and the older instar 5 caterpillars can sometimes eat butternut squash in a pinch.
- It's not recommended to buy monarch caterpillars from any 'breeder' or 'seller'. It's unethical, you could be introducing them to areas without proper food sources for them, and they could spread OE. - Even with my current caterpillars, I am growing my own milkweed to sustain my own 'waystation'
Ive had a lot of questions about my monarch butterflies and I'll use this thread to help answer any that weren't listed here! - My monarchs came completely from nature. I started with a milkweed plant not knowing ANYTHING (just wanted a butterfly bush to keep cats away from my pepper plans).

my therapist said I'm 'under extreme ptsd' and I've even told leads at current jobs that I cannot handle men yelling or being angry, it is literally a trigger. I used to love thunderstorms but loud sounds scare me now
it was fun having thousands of people call me a cheater on faked up posts and chat logs, having no way to defend myself and sitting in silence while I was being /literally abused as well/. it took courage to finally leave and be literally homeless for awhile till i got back up on my feet.
anytime I tried to leave he would make up posts, fake up stories and more about how I'm cheating, I'm doing x y z and more. He would purposely sabotage job opportunities or get me fired to try to make me financially depend on him. Being a woman in the gaming field is fun!
I told the police he was hurting me and more but they didnt do anything lol even when i saw suspicious shit on his computer glad the system caught up to him now but how many more people had to suffer in the hands of this monster in that decade?
And honestly the reason why I didn't stream was because I didn't want to deal with that for the rest of my life. Living in silence was more peaceful than being constantly reminded of that whole situation, and constantly explaining what was lied about on his end. For a decade.
