I like its approach to deep time, but also how its morality seems to say that you become human through empathy and effort. It's about humanity and parenting and, of course, trauma.
It's fantastic. It's a story with a point of view about 90 degrees askew of normal.

It's an old timey expression. I was more making fun of a conservative worldview than expressing my own opinion about marriage.
People talk about AI as some inevitable technology, but I like to think of it like nuclear power generation: eff active at some tasks, extreme environmental and social fallout surrounding it. Nuclear power has become a lot safer in the last 50 years and, maybe in 50 years LLMs will be safer too.

Why do you say that? If Democrats are smart, they will run a candidate that contrasts with Republicans, not agrees with them. The more wild the contrast, the better, because you catch every voter for whom that issue is their main issue.
