I hate film and streaming adaptations of books I like. A Song of ICE and Fire? Trash. World War Z? Mega trash. The Witcher series? Unrepentant trash. Unsure how I feel about a vidya about a book series I now like. So The Expanse: Osiris Returns is worrying me. This universe is dense!
Corporations own this world. They own all the politics, write the legislati0n, and have the people that they want get elected. Those who buck tue trend are outliers.
The 2nd Expanse book does this wonderful thing if having a political character who makes politics out to be a minefield, while ignoring the reality that the entire world's politicians are ones by corporate interests. Still a good book, though.
