I'm not buying the "unprovoked attack" thing.
It's short-sighted. If you get rid of people at lower levels, there's no one to train to take on senior roles. If you replace seniors with AI, there's no one to train entry-level people. Current AI can't fully replace a senior person; it can't even fully replace a junior. Dumb strategy much?
I wonder if AI suggested the tradeoff?
So, everyone is talking about the jobs report for July being only 73,000 jobs. How about the revision of May and June to 19,000 and 14,000? It's really not a healthy sign for the economy.
