The new tariffs are going to hit artists particularly hard if it means losing customers in the US, so I'd ask Irish people to please consider buying local, from Irish makers, where at all possible. Support that means little to a huge business makes a massive difference to small creators. We need ye.

The canning is now done. Tomatoes are not looking good..harvest is almost over. I had 12 plants in...6 San Marzano and 6 Big Boys. I got 40 pints in total. A success!
Now you have ..watch this space...I think 3 years before picking.
I planted 2 thornless blackberry plants in May. Hopefully I'll be picking in 3 years!

I am almost done...less tomatoes ripening...and they are getting "sunburned". The amount of rain we got last night will split what is out there. I had a good crop this year with almost 40 pints made. Good pasta this winter.

I lost all my hydrangeas 2 years ago to a fungus. I put butterfly bushes in their place. So far so good! Daylilies do very well here.
David...I've had this plant for about 13 years. It is a hardy hibiscus. I'm wondering if it could be an age thing??

Had breakfast...did chores..out of the house .. home forcdinner..outvofcthe house again and to be home by the time the street lights came on. We did have to tell Mom where we were going. We packed our lunch depending on our destination.

Any vinegar works..I use white vinegar that is 5% acidic.
When I have too much garlic...I peel it...put it in a glass jar that has a tight lid...pour white vinegar to submerge...and put it in the fridge...it will last up to a year.
