The Timothy Dalton movies, which are also the Bond '80s action movies, have some parody/satire in them, but viewers don't always pick up on it.

'Octopus's Garden' isn't even Ringo's favorite Beatles song. Right this second, 'Baby's in Black.' I will have a different answer in five minutes.

I'm just glad he's not still telling people he doesn't own a tv--that got old real quick.

'Spare kidneys walking around.' One of the MAGA throughlines is that they don't see other people as fully human.

Picture it, Hollywood, 1991: "Amid more dazzling stars, Isaak (decked out in his shiny brocade stage suit) got his first gold record while the waiters passed around goat cheese quesadillas and a Hawaiian band played in the background."

That's fair. There's also the homophobia and materialism, very mixed messages about drugs, etc., etc. NWA would say they're rapping about reality, but a lot of their lyrics are hyper-exaggerated at best and ugly and hateful at worst.

It's a little weird to think about now that he's a beloved legend and all, but this was a pretty low point in Weird Al's career. Following up mega-hits (by his standard) like 'Eat It' and 'Fat,' 'UHF'-the-movie was not considered a financial success at the time, and the album didn't sell very well.

I don't have a lot of feelings about Taylor Swift one way or the other, but she's identified as a feminist for like the last ten years or something, and this is some weird-ass gatekeeping.

Could go either way on this one. Both groups are influential within their sphere, both albums are some of their best work. But in 2025, there's one I would much rather listen to than the other.

Both 'Paul's Boutique' and 'Three Feet High and Rising' are still in it. Those two, plus 'It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back,' are, to my mind, the peak albums of the free-sampling era.

To each their own, but nobody's making you listen to the demos. Demos, non-album tracks, remixes, false starts, live versions, the club mix that only appeared on the German pressing of the 12" single, I want absolutely all of the things.
