I don't care what Farage or others who say they have a simple immigration solution claim, the UK can't just walk out of international commitments without massive economic and political damage, that's a lesson of Brexit. Globalisation. We don't actually have full sovereignty.

There's no better poster child for the mess the UK is now in than the fact that the Financial Times - home to the "how to spend it" supplement on luxury geegaws - is now one of the most left-wing media channels in the country simply because it's still interested in reality.

I’m sick of Westminster politicians blaming migration for their failures. Immigrants are our NHS staff, our carers, our neighbours. We are a welcoming nation and I’m proud of that. It’s not migration that pushed down living standards - it’s Brexit, austerity and rising bills.

It was not a gift from Spain, these were conquered territories. I suppose you think California, New, Mexico, Colorado, Utah etc were simply "ceded" by Mexico, rather than conquered in Palk's war on Mexico. The USA was in large part built on the appropriation and annihilation of indigenous tribes.

Saw a Trump 2020 flag fluttering limply next to an English one over the M25 yesterday. Fairly clear that it's got fuck all to do with innocent national pride (lol) and more to do with turning England into a Temu Sandy Row.

I've just watched Dan Wootton's interview with Lucy Connolly and both of them kept making the apparently killer point that there were no riots happening when she sent her tweet... and er.. isn't that kind of the point? I mean she literally admitted to inciting racial hatred.
