He’s been out there with other Texas Dems & they’re pulling support all over. And we’ve grown a lot. I believe the Latino vote will flip back considerably & S. Asian votes can be increased. There’s currently some v f’d up anti Chinese legislation as well but there’s a lot of potential gain.

They’re also narcissists who don’t respond to legitimate criticism and/or anything that may trigger “bad feelings” in self awareness while releasing dopamine. Also, their inability to self reflect leads to them being blocked which further minimizes dopamine reward levels.

Just finished a Hindsight episode on the 1st King of Iraq. It covered the Arab Revolt & how the UK & France later w/drew their deal & instead divided up the area & included a promise of a Jewish home in Palestine. Just found it interesting in relation to my thoughts on India’s Partition.

One of the most beautiful things about art is how it’s created from human perspective & emotion. Art that isn’t practiced is art that says nothing. It’s empty & the value is lost. I make digital art as a hobby & though I might use photoshop, it’s an accessory to my photography. I steer clear of AI.

Something else I found interesting. I was reading about AI relationships & though the common denominator is loneliness, many of the women created an equality supporting bf whilst men were more likely to create a submissive gf. I felt like this said a lot on R wing facilitation of male loneliness.

My husband told me about this & it checks out. I’ve dated both millennial & Gen X men. In my experience, most (not all) of the Gen X men treated feminism as something to tolerate. They weren’t openly anti feminist but weren’t pro either. Millennials were more value aligned. W/Gen Z, misogyny spiked.

There’s also a lot of trauma which is something I’ve thought about. Specifically trauma from normalization of mass murder. We’ve been doing school shooting drills for years now. What does it do to young kids? It definitely normalizes but it’s also a repetition of a traumatic scenario.

The S. Asian US diaspora used to be over 90% Democrat. This shifted w/Hindu Nationalist propaganda & there was an idea (amongst these people) that Indians were somehow white adjacent as opposed to (also) brown. I hope the tariffs (and the immigration insanity) serve as a wake up call.

My grandmother was from Amritsar. Before she passed, she began telling me of the lead up to India’s Partition. My Dad’s side is Hindu but her experiences made a lot clear. Her Dad was a doctor (status) but Hindus saw them as unclean. Family friends included Sikhs, Muslims, & Christian colonialists.

I recently read about a church that held an educational seminar on sexual abuse with their constituents. The pastor invited an advocate to speak & they spoke openly about how it’s prevalent, accessibility via trust, victims being silenced, repeat offenders, etc. Rare but good for them.
