I understand the need to condemn the violence, but that doesn’t mean you need to put the man on a pedestal. Political violence is a dangerous Pandora’s box and the guy was a piece of shit, these things aren’t mutually exclusive.

I don’t think the show put that idea forward; the protagonist comes out and says outright the problem was lies and misinformation. It highlights problems with the bureaucracy, but nothing that wasn’t accurate and a lot of issues Gorbachev himself was attempting to reform.

It’s all I can think when I see stories of these kinda homes show up. I’d imagine the economies of scale from row homes or even duplexes would more square footage at the cost of tiny strips of yard that are good for nothing. I love MGS3 so much it’s hard to say to the remaster in so far as I just want to play it in every way available. Once you’re okay at it too, it’s a short enough game I could see myself jumping from OG to delta and back, so I don’t feel like the remaster needs to be an end all be all definitive game.

I once was describing podcasts I listen to and simply described it as a Qanon podcast about conspiracies and people looked genuinely concerned before I realized what that sounds like not knowing the show.

I love the series, but the OG games had some god damn jank like that. Even in the HD 1 REmake, you can run into some absolute mind numbing back tracking and inventory head aches. 2 and 4 REmakes are gold though.
