To be fair, my referring to negative commentors simply meant their comments were not affirming to her opinion. I think we can discuss our differences without insulting each other. Maybe this is just not the platform to fully understand each other. I admit, I am just as capable to misunderstand.

I don't want to make anyone speak to me. I'm one of the ones with a book who prefers quiet. But I always make eye contact and greet my seat mate. We're losing a lot of common courtesies that acknowledge the dignity of other people. Just my opinion.
My point was that these negative reactions are waaay disproportionate response to her opinion. If we are this easily angered, maybe we shouldn't be on an airplane. Be kind. Be polite.

I'm shocked at how many People are really angry about your comment. Have all of these negative commentors had horrific interactions while flying or is this just the pack attacking a bone because that's just what we do on social media? A simple "I prefer to be left alone" will suffice people.
