The best advice for dealing with the Trump administration is the same as for dealing with a mountain lion. Make noise. Look it in the eyes. Make yourself appear larger. Show the mountain lion that you are formidable. Do not cower, run, or turn around. And if you are attacked, fight back.

Flag displays on El Capitan weren't banned until the day after Joslin and their team displayed the trans pride flag, so prosecuting people for such displays would be a huge departure from longstanding NPS practice. The NPS wouldn't say what laws and regulations were violated.

Simply by numbers, the normal (and by conservative logic "true") American life would be that of the city. Our economic, artistic, & cultural cores are urban, and our Revolution started in Boston. I think urban liberals & leftists have a much better claim to "true" Americana than rural conservatives
