Believer in the American Dream. The one Captain America stands for, not the current political climate. I believe that it is very far from perfect, and we have a long battle ahead, but it will be worth it. I am an ally. I am trying to be a better person.

Ended mental health issues is a laudable goal. I have no expectations that this regime can/will do anything helpful for the sufferers. In fact, I would suggest that they are doing a lot to exacerbate the problem.

Texas state legislature: Our intent is to change the district map so that Republicans will perform better in the mid-terms. This is quite literally picking your constituents. It might not be illegal, but it SHOULD BE. Of the people, by the people, FOR THE PEOPLE. You don't rule, you serve.

Housing the homeless is the right thing to do and will result in much better long-term results. But, the military deployment (which is wrong) will be (hopefully) short term. Housing is longer-term and would likely cost more money. Let's share accurate information.

Absolutely. Additionally, with a number of high profile, let's call them "lapses in security" seen publicly since January, they rightly should be afraid of their intel not being appropriately secured. I don't imagine any government in the world trusts this regime.
At minimum, it means that intelligence is not being shared with traditional allies. Which is bad. Because it means that likely they aren't going to be willing to share intelligence in return. Make no mistake, THIS WEAKENS US.

Three things. 1. Content. What figures are being presented? 2. Context. What parameters and assumptions are being used? 3. Veracity. What is the source of the data. Is it independently verifiable? Without this information, he might as well be showing the path of a storm, with a black sharpie.

I am not saying I disagree. But once it becomes an arms race (looks like it already is), our democracy dissolves. If we, any of us, can't vote on our representation with any efficacy, we no longer HAVE representation. Just a bunch of people ruling us with no constraints.

It's not my taste. In fact, it looks very "Third World Dictator" to me. But what worries me more than the decor is where the money is coming from? And, if it is going to take 3 years to build, why do it (unless he expects to be using it beyond that time).

I have seen people say "he's a strong leader." He's no leader of any kind. He's a bully. If you don't know the difference, you have never been bullied. If you support him as a bully, we are going to disagree.
Insider trading is when someone with privileged access to non-public information uses that information to inform trading practices. If Congress is using it's access to privileged information to inform their investments "to make money," that is insider trading. It's that simple.

This isn't personal. Seems to me that Rick Scott should at least understand that talking point. If Congress members potentially have access to non-public information that could be leveraged similar to insider trading, they should be restricted from doing so under law.

We as humans make mistakes. We as a nation have made mistakes. Whitewashing history to cover up those mistakes means covering over what leads to those mistakes and to the consequences. This means that people won't know why certain actions should be avoided. I am sure someone said it better.
Very cute. The reality is that bunnies breed like, well, rabbits. Where I used to live, there were literally tens of thousands of them. If you went out after dark, you could find hundreds. Imagine that video, but 500 bunnies instead of 20.
