Absolutely, he really is a loathsome little runt, but more imprtantly he will tear this country apart and divide commmunities with his devisve, hateful politics. I detest him, his cronies and frankly those that vote for him.

I tend to use Collins for evdrything now, or occassionally Stace, but I have other books, including this one for if I take a speciment home. The BSBI sedges handbook is brilliant.

Nice guest on my Scarlet willow, a Poplar hawk moth caterpillar. I also managed to get a nice shot of the underwing of a Comma butterfly, showing the white comma marking from which it gets its name. Oh, a Peacock butterfly as well.

Well, my friend and I did eventually get to Glencoe, had to delay travel on the Monday as the storm would have made it too dangerous to travel. But we still managed a cople of nights with one full day in the field. Rannock moor is a botanists dream and the scenery is out of this world.

Certainly been a much better year for insects this year, plant the right plants they will come, The bumblebee buff tailed) is on Echinops and the butterfly (Peacock) on a Buddliea. I get great joy from sitting in my garden watching all the activities of wildlife.
