People do have the power. Billionaires need workers to help make their profits. JCorporations need consumers to buy their goods & services. Organise and begin by boycotting these companies only purchase from those who are unionised and do not contribute to the coffers of the tinpot dictator.

Of course equality of opportunity does not equate to the same outcome. Not everyone wants to be Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk or Donald Trump. A lot of people just want a. quiet life with good food, a decent home, a place to be with their loved ones and a worthwhile job with reasonable conditions.

For once I agree with him.
We have a proportional representation system of voting in Ireland. Choice of candidates in order of preference on ballots. There are 8 or 9 right/left wing parties. The result usually gives a centrist coalition government who keep each other in check. Not perfect but definitely more democratic.
The French too have a Statue of Liberty. At least they recognise their flaws. Remember they stood up to the billionaires of the day and recognised that the “let them eat cake” establishment and system of government had to be abolished. It took blood guts and sacrifice.
