In actual dollar value the best market is probably for a second team in Toronto. It'd be nice for non-millionaire hockey fans in that city to have an actual opportunity to see pro men's hockey.

I don't see Sanderson as a player like Karlsson or Chabot who needs a cautious safe player to cover for him - his defense has always kicked ass. Zub is great defensively and adequate in transition, but maybe we could try giving Sanderson a partner with offensive chops like a discount Hughes/Hronek.
Perhaps Jordan Spence would actually be outmatched defensively in unsheltered minutes (seems DJ Smith assumed so because he's so lil), but I do wonder how Sanderson would look alongside a more offensively capable defender like Spence. At least in offensive deployment.

Neither of them is perfect, but if you follow a team other than the Leafs then Sportsnet is intolerable and TSN (or Prime) are fine. I think only Leafs sphere would find them comparable. Not to mention (from an Ottawa perspective) Pounder, Lalonde, Noodles, all better talent than what we get on SN.

It does make sense, but I think the relative depreciation of long contexts is also a useful mechanism. Like, if you sign a guy to a 6*6 because he's worth 7% now you're hoping he's not hurting you at 5% of the cap at the end.
