*cracks knuckles* okay so you know how the media has a problem with taking snippets of scientific studies out of context and writing articles which mislead the public? now imagine a computer program is doing that when you ask it questions about scientific literature but also it makes stuff up.

Well worth the money. Years later we are dogless, but still have that cover in the trunk of our hatchback where it now protects against damage from groceries and other random loads.
Dana Bentley (@commonst.bsky.social) reply parent
It was one meant specifically for protecting cars from dog fur and claws so it was wonderfully strong.
Dana Bentley (@commonst.bsky.social) reply parent
When we had our dog who was part lab/part something that sheds like a thing that can't keep hair on it's body at all, we got a removable car seat cover for the back. It came out easy enough when needed, was much simpler to keep clean, and provided extra protection in general.

I am usually a "eat things however you like" kind of person, but the flavour and texture of raisins in a properly barely-set buttertart filling is so wrong I really do not understand the pro-raisin stance at all. Then again, it has been a while since I have had a buttertart with a proper filling.

A story that haunts me over 30 years since I read it is the man who named all 10 of his sons after himself in the hopes that 1 would live to adulthood and carry it on. This was the reality of child mortality before the modern medicines that some people want stopped.
