When I lived in Nanaimo I presented to Council that they should start clearing sidewalks because they had a sidewalk plow but only used it to plow around City Hall. It sat unused while kids walked on the (cleared) streets to school. I was unsuccessful. A senior was killed the next year cuz of this.
