Oh yeah, growing up in a lower income neighborhood in SoCal that was our chips because they were only .25 per pack at the time compared to .99 for a little bag of Lays. Then my partner showed me that it’s actually just common to buy brands of pre-crushed and seasoned ramen to snack on.
Try a different style, its really fun to see what else you’re capable of, even its just a one off piece. You can still learn something new and feel rejuvenated to get back into the full swing of things.
But that’s just part of my journey which I hope maybe helps you realize some of things that maybe matter more than others if you’re hesitant about certain aspects of transitioning. Just remember, whatever name you choose, clothes you wear, what you shave or don’t, E or T or neither. You. Are. Real.
That said, my priorities to feel like myself don’t make me feel like I personally need HRT. I may down the road get on a low dosage of E for a little extra boost in some areas if I feel like it can help. Clothes also help a ton, shop online, return what doesn’t fit til you’re comfortable in stores!
My voice is also kinda annoying to me personally, I need to get better at voice training, I still like doing goofy masc character voices for DM’ing in DnD groups playing different NPC characters, but as my day to day voice for myself that resonates with me as a woman. I need to keep training!
Because I am so sick of shaving with a razor like twice a day for my legs and breast area to keep it smooth and my face like 3-4 times with a razor/electric razor because that scruff causes me MASSIVE dysphoria to feel/see on myself even years into being openly trans.
As for me I thankfully have a naturally pretty feminine physique overall, from my facial structure down to my hands and feet are naturally pretty fem on their own. I’m already VERY in touch with my emotions, positively! So my transition is more about removing my pesky facial body hair PERMANENTLY
Because it’s second puberty, if you are one of those ladies who feel a level of emotional numbness, lacking in areas that E can help with. It will potentially hit you either immediately or as late as a year into taking it. So give it time and potentially get your dosage adjusted, this your journey!
Taking E can sometimes increase or massively decrease your sex drive. If you’re on T blockers, which depending on your situation isn’t always a requirement when taking E. You can lose functionality down there when not using it and it can actually be painful to “use”. So just remember that sis! Also
Also, I almost forgot, what you got going on downstairs.. That’s on you how you wish to handle it. If you are happy with your loadout, that changes nothing about your validity as a Woman or Man. But if you take E, you may have heard “use it or lose it”. Lemme explain.
So don’t believe that Trans Women and Cis Women are different genders. Both are 100% women! I know hearing or saying trans before Man or Woman can feel like you’re somehow not a “real” one, that’s just our society still in its infancy and needing to put labels on things because were babies still…
Taking E can help your skin become softer and bring out more feminine features as your body fat redistributes. Results vary though! Remember, being a woman is not a rule book you have to follow. Trust me, there are countless Cis women who adore you, think you are a goddess! Because, YOU ARE!!
E also won’t remove that pesky facial/body hair, it can help make it a little thinner potentially with some ladies. But you’re gonna need Laser Hair Removal for a permanent solution. E also doesn’t change your voice like T does baby, I’m sorry… But you have SOOO many options for that free online ❤️
Therapy can also help you reach your emotional side more if that is what you desire, so don’t assume only medical transition will be the cure all. HRT can also help breast growth, not a guarantee on how much. They will also hurt a lot for quite some time because… I mean it’s second puberty!
1. HRT is NOT mandatory! Trust me I know it sounds like magic to turn you externally into that goddess YOU believe you currently are not. If you currently have T flowing real strong in you, feeling like you can barely feel those emotions the way other women do. Then E might be what you need!
Speaking as a woman, you can apply everything before and what I am going to say below in your journey as well with your personal identity be it Man, Woman, Enby etc.
If you’re a trans woman, you’re a woman! Same goes for trans men and if you’re in between then that’s just FACT! What you do from there is just for your own personal mental health to make YOU feel better. Don’t worry about anybody else, I know, easier said but you’re not alone!
There is no “right” or “complete” way to transition. Yes, there are SOME people even trans people out there who they themselves try to push a narrative that you can’t really be trans if you don’t do X Y or Z. Don’t worry about them, baby. This is YOUR journey and nobody else’s.
No rush! Take your time! Just because you see stories of some 12 year old fully transitioning, doesn’t mean you’re a late bloomer. You’re a wizard! (Not that one!!) like good ol’ Gandalf said. “A wizard is never late nor early they arrive exactly at the time they mean to”.

I haven’t eaten fast food in 7 years after vowing off it. Every time I check in and look at those prices, they go up yearly. Groceries ain’t going down, but baby… You can still make AND buy some pre-made microwaveable/oven meals in larger quantities than a single trip any fast food joint.

Chokers are fun, lots of different styles to try and fairly cheap if you’re going for fabrics and blended materials and when you get annoyed with it just fold it up and wear it on your wrist.
