This event was an advanced screening for invited influencers, what influencers are. All part of a high energy old school style marketing campaign. Next they will make you sign a waver to see the movie and announce that a nurse will be on hand.

I was 11 when it came out and was not allowed to go with my older brothers to the drive in. They wouldn’t swim in the swimming hole for the rest of the summer. This is a must see on the big screen. Get your self to a cinema. You’re going to need a bigger screen. 💙📽️ @letterboxd.social

2/2 a yarn company that did the same. When we carried a line of yarn we did the full colour range. They stared sell the top colours to Walmart at deep discount. People would complain our prices were to high go to W not get the colours they wanted. Made us look lime we were gouging.

I lived the first 2/3 of the episode. Was actually giddy at the beginning with the first title card and voice over. But as a documentary it failed at the end when the documentarian inserted themselves into the documentary. OR the episode writes gave up on the concept near the end.

60 and almost all my T-shirts are graphic. Are there other kinds?

Post apocalyptic living in a small isolated town. The world has moved and abandoned the British Isles. Brexit anyone? Some tonal shifts but who really cares about that. Until the end then it is a bit jarring. 💙📽️ #moviesky @letterboxd.social

Meh. Kind of like reading a Tom Clancy novel. Interesting but forgettable. Definitely a summer read. 💙📚 #booksky

Watched it last night, by my self, to prep for 28 Years Later. Still creepy and thoughtful. And yes the real monsters are people. 💙📽️ #moviesky @letterboxd.social

We had a bunch of free range peafowl 🦚 growing up. At night they would roost in tree by our house. As the sun would come up they would call out. Way louder than any rooster 🐓 could do. But you sure didn’t want to piss one of them off.

Some movies are so bad they are good. This is not one of those movies. It was awful. It was horrible. Wish I had not watched it. I feel stupid. It is a trip having others chose what I watch. @paulscheer.com #moviesky 💙📽️ @letterboxd.social

That is one of the most British sentences I have ever read.

Every single time I hear the talking heads utter, "Peace through Strength" I think of this. I gave '1984' a re-read in 2022, and it not only still holds the record as the only novel that has actually ever scared me, but even more so now as an adult who understands how effectively propaganda works.
