AI assists in tablet art = pose generators, auto-coloring, line stabilizers, generative fill, and background/texturing tools.
When tablet art leans fully on AI crutches, authorship collapses into interface mediation. The “artist” is reduced to parameter-tuning while the model performs the generative labor. This shifts the work from skill acquisition to system dependency.
If you are an artist and you download someone else's art to your tablet, run some tools, use some #ai assistance, and then claim refurbished art as your own, without giving credit to the original artist, you just stole #art. Are you talented? Sure, just like a thief is talented at shoplifting
They stole another person's art, put in in the tablet, ran the ai tools, and are passing it off as their own art. There's an entire reddit thread going down right now showing what they did. It makes me question their entire portfolio. How often was this done? How often was it missed?
