I don't like seeing the National Guard doing policing because that's what the military does in third world nations.
The show, and the movie before it, had a dilemma, to present a chaste, but romantic, love story between an unmarried woman and a man living together, although he was a ghost, without crossing the line. The critics never would have allowed any sexual content, therefore she never contemplated it.

A permanent solution might be a better staffed, better funded police department, or heaven forbid, social services department. But what fun would that be? The GOP knows any permanent program will cost more money. As my dad used to say "You get what you pay for."

The statistic I am interested in is the percentage of ICE arrests where the individual actually had a criminal record and especially rape or murder. Trump implied a very high number, or all, and based the urgency for ICE funding on his exaggerated claims.
