It's the lack of consistency with them too. Flew earlier this year with someone else - we'd genuinely misunderstood the baggage alllowance. On the way out I was charged and they walked through in front of me no problem, on the way back it was the opposite.

When I was 13/14 my maths teacher promised whoever got the highest test mark would move up a set. This meant you had a chance to get a higher GCSE grade. I worked my arse off and got the highest mark in the class. She moved up 2 boys instead. Had no confidence in my maths ability after that.
