Go see your local e-bike store. Take some for a test ride. The two main types (hub drive vs mid drive) feel quite different to ride. Hub drives are generally cheaper, but still are a great entry point into the e-Bike world.

It's not something I'd argue about though. I gave up on that once I abandoned my "Metal or GTFO!" phase. Love what you love, is my mantra. And I ACK I'm an outlier. I suspect it's because it's the instruments rather than vocals that appeal to me more (although a bad vocalist can be a deal breaker)
Yeah, we're not on the same page on that one. Not even in the same library. 🤣 I love music that goes on a journey, with my favourite genre being the slow build up to an exuberant finish. So a 30 minute track that goes through multiple moods and soundscapes is absolutely my vibe.
Yeah, nah. That was no barrier. I socialise all the time with people who think my music sucks. It's the default state actually. They learn to keep me away from the stereo. In fact, my mate booted me off his wifi last time I was around at his place (still snuck in a 30 minute epic first though lol).
SEE! I KNEW there would be a band somewhere. Radiohead are awesome, with OK Computer one of my desert island discs.
I'll probably be disowned by the prog fraternity for admitting this but... I never really got into Rush. Geddy Lee's vocals just don't do it for me. I'm very much in the "modern" prog realm with my tastes. The place where post 90s metal, rock, weird time signatures, and hey-nonny-nonnying meet.

Yeah, I ACK there may be cheaper clinics. But I don’t want to abandon my GP because I’ve built up a relationship with them, and they’re conveniently local. They’re also really onto it. I’m now on two daily preventative medications thanks to yearly blood tests I got an out of the blue TXT about.

Friday afternoon school run in my bike-enabled burb: a dad (with baby on the back) and two kids on bikes, trundling homeward down our recently rebuilt main street via the dedicated bike paths.
