The fact that both Denzel and Hackman basically play the same character in every movie made this one *a lot* of fun.

This country absolutely lost the fucking plot after Sandy Hook in 2012. My brain’s initial reaction: “Well at least it was only 2 this time”. “This time” … We are *so* broken.
It’s been a solid 9 years since my last Phish at Dick’s but it’ll always live rent free in my mind.
The whole movie and production is fucking incredible. I’m pretty sure the opening scene was one true/uncut 10min shot, and then the rest of the movie is edited so it feels like the entire thing is continuous. Groundbreaking regardless.
