It’s the writing that is such a let down for me. I love the cast and the cinematography and editing, but the stories are generally so thin and lack substance. It’s like they did everything right, but hired a bunch of seventh graders to write those episodes. So aggravating and unsatisfying.

My dad died of CHF. Probably 2 years after diagnosis. I don’t recall whether he was on IV therapy. It’s been 30 years. I do recall his exhaustion and shortness of breath. He died suddenly at a family reunion (he insisted that he go). So weird to think about that. I’m sure he suffered.

I dunno. Kentuckian here. There are lots of new, smaller bourbon labels coming out every year. Could some of this be that there are just a lot more bourbons to choose from- kinda like when we had 2-3 beers available nationally, then all of a sudden tons of microbrews to choose from?
