Personally I think it's totally defensible for the head of a meteorology department to say, "you can't work here unless you believe in climate change." That department is going to end up with zero conservatives in it but it's not the department that needs to change!
The conservative movement has turned against reality on every scientific issue of our time, from gun violence to climate change to epidemiology. If campuses are ideologically homogenous, it's not because academia has ostracized conservatives. It's because conservatives have ostracized academia.

Thank you. As a resident of Washington D.C., we don’t want and can’t afford a U.S. Attorney, responsible for also prosecuting our local laws, who diverts resources to unwarranted “inquiries” and investigations and fires or sidelines experienced prosecutors for partisan reasons.
And the “gang” report was by the Prince George’s County Police, a bastion of racial discrimination: apnews.com/article/ente... The lawsuit also said the county’s police chief at the time, Henry Stawinski, allowed racism to “thrive” in his department.
Finally, the Dems are exercising some of the powers of the minority. Slow it all down!
