I think some uses of plastic are probably justified. But I do have a problem with the degree to which it has permeated the planet, from its sourcing (oil) to the waste factor. I think we're only on the cusp of grasping its impact on living organisms (inc humans).

RIP Graham Greene. Every time he popped up on screen when I was a kid, my mom would excitedly point him out for being an actual Native on the screen. Able to be deadly serious and infinitely hilarious (even in smaller roles like Last of Us), he ate up the screen. Nʌki’wah brother.

Urban walls, sidewalks, and even utility meters are the unlikely canvases behind this clever collection of genius street art. From an illusion of a zebra being striped to a sidewalk creature with a real rock for a head, these eight works turn... 👇

Street art sticker of the character E.T. placed on a stone wall, cleverly aligned with a red metal fire hose fixture so that the two circular outlets resemble E.T.’s large eyes. The setup transforms the fixture into the alien’s head, while the drawn body shows his wrinkled skin, long arms, and glowing finger.

Street art mural depicting R2-D2, the iconic Star Wars droid, offering a bouquet of flowers to a trash can painted to resemble a companion. A small red heart hovers above R2-D2, adding a touch of charm and humor to the piece. The artwork, set against an urban wall, playfully reimagines the characters in a heartwarming scene that brings personality and affection to inanimate objects.

By ItSkeletal. Skeletons have always been a powerful symbol in street art. Artists from all over the world use skeletons in their murals and installations to create art that is sometimes serious, sometimes funny, and always eye-catching... Skeleton Art (24 Photos) 👇

Equality skeletons by ItSkeletal – Seven skeletons stand side by side against a black background, each labeled differently—White, Black, Straight, Gay, Religious, Atheist, and Pirate. While they all share the same skeletal form, the pirate stands out with one leg missing, reinforcing the idea that even in uniformity, individuality exists.
