I've heard lately this game is getting the Silent Hill name slapped on it to help it sell. Which honestly feels like a disservice to this game. It'll have little to do with Silent Hill, which will annoy the fans. It also creates an expectation.
Okay, so...here's how a lot of jobs work You get hired...and they pay you the same they pay everyone else. To get an increase in wage, you need to unionise. And if you do that, they fire you. If you ask for more money, they'll likely fire you or jusdt say no.

I disagree a little there. I've still generally found the PSN store, as one example, to be the most expensive place to get games digitally. PC gaming seems to like to compete with itself with sales and so on. Consoles are more of a captive monopoly.

Yeah, honestly. I feel the industry has had to choke down the fact people couldn't afford a price hike, but now they "need" to and people *still* can't afford it. We *should* be at a place where $80 for a game is fine because we're all paid, like, $20 an hour minumum. But we're not.
$80 is bad enough on its face, but the fact that when the Switch 3 comes out it'll STILL be $80 is what REALLY annoys me.

Exactly. Not sure how it works in the US, but in the UK you can use your local Job Centre address when applying for a job. There are a lot of people with jobs but no home, which just makes the stereotypes even stupider. They're trying, dammit, they just need help.
