For sure. It's not too bad on series x/s with fps boost. I just did a playthrough of 3, NV, & 4 a few months ago. The PC version is still shockingly buggy for a near 2-decade old game and I don't get why they still haven't added achievement support for it on either Xbox PC or steam.

This is what I think alot of people are missing when it comes to game pricing. More than maybe any other form of entertainment, you could literally just not buy the thing you find overpriced and go buy what will provide you likely equal or better entertainment for the amount you're willing to spend.

Yeah the Xbox game bar is actually like fairly good now. I would consider it better than steam's in-game overlay currently. I play everything thru steam and still use it regularly.

With DLSS it's good enough for most things on the display built into it but you'll run into issues on more demanding newer games at higher settings. Indiana Jones is super vram-heavy for example. In 2-3 years it'll probably struggle with a large amount of new titles. TLDR; yes, but not really.
The Thunder were the best team all season. One of the best defensive teams to ever step foot on a basketball court led by one of the most efficient MVP's ever. I cannot believe Indiana made it to a game 7. Genuinely one of the most impressive non-title-winning accomplishments of my lifetime.

My first gaming device was a game boy and I can confidently say that handheld game consoles peaked with the gameboy advance sp. The wild west of third party "make the screen suck slightly less" accessories for the og gb and gbc still have a place in my heart tho.
The thing with the $80 price point is Nintendo can get away with it with certain games because of the sheer quality and polish with which they release *exclusive* games. Microsoft releasing a game at $80 just means I'll play it when it's $15 on steam and the bugs have been fixed in about a year.

the HDR support, 1440p native res, locked 60fps, and DRASTICALLY improved load times make TotK almost feel like a different game when taken holistically. The only game in NS2 launch lineup that is genuinely worth what they're charging for it imo (MK World is great btw-- at $50 in bundle).

It's always been a failure of both Nomura and square/disney that that's the case. Bc birth by sleep in particular is arguably the most important in the series to understanding the story and I would be willing to bet that less than 20% of people who have played 1-3 have ever opened that game.
See that's the problem, there aren't 3 canonical games-- there's like 10. And fwiw, birth by sleep is extremely underrated. Highly recommend via the remaster collection if you've never played it. Dream drop distance is also fun gameplay-wise. Could take or leave the rest (mostly leave).
