Sickening footage from Nuneaton tonight, where a Sky News interview with a local businessman was disrupted by racists hurling abuse. Another local said, "Warwickshire Council Council has gone to Reform... It's given certain people a licence to be aggressive and racist."

I’m going to blow your minds (sarcasm) right now. The reason people are scared of migrants and trans people is not because migrants and trans people are actually terrifying threats. It is because people are suspicious of difference, and because that’s suspicion is easily weaponized by the right.

I tend to use the light dom when it comes to web components and that to add extra functionality like image with dialog lightbox for bigger versions or exclusive accordions before the name attribute. Obviously parts of the site might not work with no js like if client side fetching user data ect.
Duffeh (@duffeh.bsky.social) reply parent
I wouldn't say progressive enhancement is the lack of JavaScript, it the lack of features on browsers. Fetch priority is an example where you could use it on chrome with no impact on Firefox / safari and when they added support they gained the benefits.
