The elections are in 2026, the new Congress comes in in January 2027; this is basic civics. But the election is not guaranteed, and election victory certainly is not. I don't think people are going to vote for a do-nothing party that just talks about its inability to do anything.
You are literally arguing 'MAGA is going to say mean things about us' while a dictatorship is coming into being in front of your eyes. It's kinda pathetic. It's choosing to be a loser. Why do you expect voters to punch the ticket for the party that won't take any risks?

They can introduce impeachment articles. Do they have enough votes, no. So what? They can stand on the steps of Congress and read them out. And then do it again a few weeks later, and again, and again, while calling on people to stand up against the administration. Or, as you suggest, do nothing.
In the last 4 days the Trump admin committed a war crime in the Caribbean, ignored the law passed by Congress and unilaterally renamed the DoD to the 'Department of War', and is threatening to make war on Chicago. And you're here with memes about about deficit spending and KPI.

They're both important. Officers (who are usually better educated) are far more likely to refuse an illegal order than lower ranks. For the latter, it's smarter to leave than to try their hand at legal analysis.

I don't think anyone is arguing that it doesn't matter, but a lot of people are questioning whether its still in effect. Look at any previous or upcoming posts calling for mass protests/civil disobedience, and there's a reliable chorus of people saying 'this isn't the time'.
The difference is that you can be pretty sure no Democrat will announce they'll pardon him if elected President (which is why they keep losing)

Because there are many people who talk down any real world protest with phrases like 'it's not the time, let things play out in the courts first'. They're more worried about the idea of disorder than they are about authoritarianism so they habitually reject taking the initiative on anything.
Because they're not expressing compliance. A lot of people that waiting for all the lawsuits to fail before it's deemed acceptable to push back in the streets is a losing strategy. I think they have a point because one thing Trump is historically great at is running out the clock.
I read the whole thread. I disagree with the idea that standing around waiting on the courts to possibly come back with a favorable ruling that will be possibly be implemented (without anyone to enforce it) is better than opposing the administration en masse, eg via protests or a general strike.
I'm 200% sure there's no truth to the rumors about pseudointellectual cosmic visionaries just being a front for taking drugs and grooming minors or barely legal college freshers. Another version of me always tell the truth.
