Forcing ppl to be perpetually in an inflammatory state is not living.
Preventative care would actually mean being anti inflammatory. Under Capitalism coercion and the stress of poverty and insecurity, inflammation is constant.
You can shame and police ppl all you want. But even when a person carries that well, their body won't lie to them about the damage stress does.
Internalized stress triggers chronic conditions, it also makes any preventative measures obsolete. For example all the usual exercise and stretching I typically do has been severely limited because all the conditions I'm not navigating cuz of high financial and labor related stress.
