The 6th Hook Rule is actually genius design, its not a buff or a nerf to either DBD side. Its a rebalance of 4v1 to 3v1, meaning the power you would get from tunneling would be null. #deadbydaylight

What #tunnelers in #deadvydaylight needs to realize is that the game have been bleeding players over tunneling for 9 years and that most Killers are smart enough to adapt from the playstyles that are being made ineffective. I cant wait to have fast Killer Queues again, its gonna be great.
That would be nice, but you know they need to be a big outlier to be prioritized. BHVR isnt fast on this particular issue nor do they try to fix an issue before the problem is happening.

I can understand how it can feel that way, but we have been bleeding players over tunneling for 9 years. I rather do too much and scale it back rather than scale it back and not do much. We will be testing it the most once it hit live.

I think you are wrong about this, its not so much as an effect to make you not tunnel, its a rebalance compensation for a team-mate who died too fast. What it will do, it will Kill the advantage that early game tunneling has, you can still tunnel past 6 hooks, you know.

We two may not need these changes, but there are players out there that do need it to reduce their tunneling, consider all types of players, because not all changes are targeted at us. Like I dont imagine how I play will be affected like at all.
You say that in the video, yet you call them patchnotes too in the video and complain you wont be able to see for yet. Secondly then you are not needing or require it then, you are just boosting your ability to deal with higher mmr play rather than playing at lower mmr.
As far as I see, these new changes will only buff my current playstyles, but I will camp and tunnel to see how rebust the system is.

Slugging and tunneling reduction, you must know this will not be pretty, a medicine that wont got down easy.
My fav part of Dead by Daylight 's 2v8 mode is running back to get someone caged while the gates are open, trying to avoid two Killers who want more downs is such an adrenaline rush.
