All vaccines have be subjected to an analysis of the benefits vs the risks. This analysis is ongoing during the life of the vaccine. Do some research into vaccines (from credible institutions) before putting your children at risk.
Clearly our health system is in crisis. We need more hospitals and more staff. Rather see more health resources than nuclear subs which most likely will never eventuate - and even if they do - will really just be an extension of the US navy - paid for by us.

Actually, the one downside to getting the chickenpox vaccine is that you will need the shingles vax in later life. Hardly an issue as most people have had chickenpox in their childhood.

We caught covid (for the first time) 5 weeks after we got our boosters this year. We were on holiday and let our guard down at the dinner table. Vaccine does not prevent one getting covid. It does however tend to mitigate the symptoms and lessen the chances of hospitalisation and possibly death.
I've only got one autoimmune disease, but also a heart condition. Also not considered "high risk". Our health system is degrading.

Last year, my GP was concerned I might have a cardiac arrest and advised me to go to ED. She supplied a letter. I went to Fiona Stanley. It was 11 hours from triage to when I was finally seen. the seats become rock hard. I had to rely on the vending machines to keep my blood sugar from crashing.
