It’s a tough one for sure, obviously homophobia has no place at the club (or anywhere for that matter) I think social media created a bigger issue than it was. He felt compelled to wear what he wore, so be it. As is his right. He never said anything homophobic, as far as I know anyway

I agree he has to do what is in CPFC’s interests, this isn’t just about letting a player do what he wants (ironically 😅) I think he’s harmed CPFC’s interests. Costing the club millions for a player that leaves for free next year (while he himself will likely leave as well)…where are Palace then?

At the risk of sounding biased, I’m not convinced it’s in CPFC’s interests. Guehi now leaves for free, costing the club £35mil, all because Glasner threatened to leave because *he* failed to find a replacement. All for what? For Glasner to leave at the end of the year anyway? Really poor form imo.
Personally, I would happily take the piss. A precedent has to be set so managers don’t act the way Glasner did again! I’d love for him to find his way back to Anfield in any case, he’s a quality player looks like he’d fit in the group really well too.
