You get it! It’s not just wanting to make friends but to have deeper meaningful lasting connections and knowing that takes time and energy to build to last and I don’t just want to be a friend I want to be a good friend to people.
When I got my gallbladder removed I had such bad nausea from the anesthesia meds and the painkillers my roommate told me about her friend with chronic nausea that created a reusable puke bag that looks like a purse and asked if I wanted one. Years later I still wish I had said yes.
For me at least.
Chronic nausea might actually be worse than chronic pain or chronic fatigue.
