When Guard get pulled away from their civilian jobs to go on orders, many are taking a pay cut. BAH supplements the base salary w/ a special allotment specifically for housing. That isn’t EXTRA money. That PLUS salary is just APPROACHING civilian pay. Shorting them BAH is putting them in poverty.
