Trump has been planning this for a while. Even before he was re-elected his son-in-law Jared Kushner was lobbying for it. The Israeli far right will now drive all the Palestinians out of Gaza. The coming humanitarian disaster will be even bigger than that we have seen so far

Trump swallowing Putin’s lies is a bigger threat to Ukraine than bombs. In Alaska the Russian leader will claim to want peace, but only on his terms – and play on the president’s desperation to ‘make a deal’ quickly www.guardian.com/commentisfre...

Not only is the UK economy growing nowhere, but the government is said to face a £41bn fiscal ‘black hole’. A ‘Remain economy’ would be at least £100bn bigger. But the State has carried on with its pre-Brexit spending, while the economy to pay for it has leaked too much revenue. monevator.com

Trump‘s attempt to secure the Nobel Peace Prize has priority over everything else including the independence of Ukraine and European security. Moreover, he is still hoping that by giving Putin Ukraine he can turn Russia against China. Trump is delusional and interested only in himself

I don‘t think the military will defend the constitution. They‘ll just obey the CinC. Massive civil disobedience may be on its way but that might just provoke a total clampdown on civil society. The outlook is very bleak indeed
