Got a few solo plays of Age of Galaxy in. It’s a streamlined 4X-ish gale that is really focused on an action efficiency puzzle. I’m liking it but so far something about the tempo feels iffy, but that might just be because I’m terrible these types of games.

I listen to the soundtrack to the old video game Earthbound pretty often, and I'm always thinking about how it used static and noise as a musical effect, And these pages use noise as FX panels, which i never would have guessed would work so well

There was exactly one book that I got a peek inside of when another high school kid grabbed it off the counter I think it was some kind of Dragon Ball doujinshi, and the kid flipped straight to a scene of Bulma pleasuring a turtle Burned into my memory immediately
I worked at a comic store when I was in high school and I had one customer who special ordered a bunch of adult comics every month Out of respect, I never looked through any of his books, but now that we have a Bondage Fairies Bot that people repost every day, I finally see what he was looking at

I've been looking at futuristic cityscapes from Akira and Syd Mead this week and seeing this neat trick where they draw somewhat realistic foreground buildings up to a point, Then draw incomprehensibly gigantic structures behind them to push it over the top
Many hands & hours go into a single issue of comics. Even as an artist, I've gone back to writers or editors in instances where I had concerns about the messaging of a script. If no one involved in the entire pipeline of an issue can spot textbook bigotry, that's not a great pipeline you've built
