China has been quite consistent on climate policy. Every year since 2000, CO2 output has gone up. The exception is the period from 2014 to 2016 when emissions actually went down (why?). Of course, China has also been quite consistent in increasing coal production (with some exceptions).

As always, you are wrong. Since 2000, US CO2 emissions have fallen by 20%. By contrast, China's CO2 emissions have more than tripled. Did I mention that China produces far more CO2 than the US. The "Statistical Review of World Energy" is the best data source.

More schemes for making energy storage even less economically feasible Think of oil, gas, and coal as concentrated solar power (they are). Even Uranium comes from a star that predates the sun.

You are assuming that the fuel that heats the sand is free (or so it appears). This is probably incorrect. The economics of storage systems are driven by the price gap for peak demand and the price at demand troughs. For the type of energy produced from hot sand, the price gap is low or nonexistent.

Illegal residence in the U.S. "is a civil offense". Illegal entry (KAG) is both a civil and criminal offense. The penalties section makes that quite clear. "First Offense: Fines, imprisonment for up to six months, or both. Subsequent Offenses: Fines, imprisonment for up to two years, or both..."

I guess you missed the part where the Federal law actually says "Civil penalties under this subsection are in addition to, and not in lieu of, any criminal or other civil penalties that may be imposed." I guess.

Quotes from Google "In the US, illegal entry is both a civil and criminal offense" and "While 8 U.S.C. § 1325 makes illegal entry a criminal offense, the underlying immigration violation (being in the US without authorization) is a civil offense." I seem to see the words "criminal offense".

I seem to see the words "At a Master Calendar Hearing the Respondent, through counsel, admitted the factual allegations contained in the NTA and conceded removability as charged" and "Here, the Respondent's asylum application is time-barred without exception". Do you see those words?

The Federal law (8 U.S.C. § 1325) makes illegal entry a criminal offence. KAG violated the criminal laws of the U.S.

The Federal judge rather specifically denied his asylum claim. The hearing was back in 2019. Do you need the link?

KAG asked that he not be sent back to El Salvador. His choice is being followed.

The penalty (one of them) for violating 8 U.S. Code § 1325 is prison. That makes it a criminal offence. The Cornell website lists the criminal penalties.

KAG entered the US illegally in 2012. That is a criminal offense. Do you need links to where his own lawyers admitted that he was a deportable alien?

Bad language. It would detract from you argument, if you had one.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Let me quote from the Cornell Law School. "(a)Improper time... of examination or inspection; misrepresentation and concealment of facts... who (1)... shall, for... imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both... I seem to see a reference to "prison".

Illegal residence in the US is a civil offense. The penalty is deportation. Illegal entry (KAG) into the US is a criminal offence. Check out 8 U.S.C. § 1325.

Back in 2019, KAG had 3 hearings before Federal judges. He lost them all. His own lawyer admitted he was a deportable alien. Need the links?
