Mock him if you wish, but Schumer has been elected five times to the US Senate in the fourth-largest state by population, and before that, I think nine times to the US House from the NYC area, the largest metro area in the country. So I'd say that, as a politician, he knows what he's doing.

As I keep saying, the rightwing agitprop/disinfo machine is what put them into power, and will keep them there. And social media influencers and troll armies are a significant part of that machine.
