I find two things make decisions difficult. One is evaluating probabilities, which ultimately leaves the element of chance. The other is trying to be sure my values are in order, as they can sometimes be skewed by emotions.
If Trump damages the faith and credit of United States, we are finished. The dollar will no longer be strong or standard. No one will want our debt, which we have become existentially dependent upon. Inflation will be rampant. Damage from tariffs will be nothing in comparison.
They will leave ambiguity enough to allow further abuse, and send further adjudication back to them. More bribes, that way. (my prediction)
