Several scenes that were shown in previews were to be excised, and just the overall momentum pushed the movie a little too fast to that goal post. That 2-hour target for theater distribution again affects the quality of a movie. But again, it’s a solid and fun movie. Def recommended for MCU fans.
While Fantastic Four has all the pieces to make a great comic book/F4 movie and is a great time, it overall misses to reach that summit. And weirdly enough, it’s due to the editing. It all seems disparate or forced, it never reaches that second-level rhythm or momentum that great movies have.
