This is the second day in a row he’s said this. This is an intentional normalization effort.
The battle of our day is no longer about Democrats versus Republicans or left versus right. The choice right now is democracy or dictatorship. And we're sliding faster than I ever thought possible into the latter. Everyone must choose which side they’re on.

This has been my greatest concern since Trump et alia announced the policy. A significant fraction of these guardsmen will be MAGA, and they will react poorly.

Last night DC neighbors showed up at a police checkpoint at 14th & V ST. NW with handwritten signs warning drivers to avoid the block. After realizing that the community was successfully diverting all traffic, agents packed up the checkpoint and left. #WeKeepUsSafe
