So it's a bill that would've sped up the licensure process to bring in out of state nurses. I do see his response why he vetoed it, claiming excess bills that are misplaced and harming. It's exactly why I hate politics becuase it could very well be a fancy way to simply say he disagrees with it.

Interesting. I will look into those bills. That does sound horrible if true. The podcast thing is an attempt to have open conversations, even if it's not someone that fully aligns with him politically. The podcast format is huge so I understand the logic there.

Cali has laws protecting trans rights, laws that allow them to play in the sport/team that aligns with their gender. Trump is threatining Cali with funding cuts. I have heard the podcast Newsom did, but he is literally fighting for trans rights in Cali right now. Seems far from transphobic.
