Not only is that misleading, it also takes the focus away from solutions that might actually address the leading causes of death — vessel strikes and entanglement with fishing gear.

Even in SE Australia you generally have to travel to get to the snow (which is more likely in the mountains). Unlike England, where snow was commonplace (at least when I lived there). Climate Change is already impacting us - with more severe heat waves, bushfires, droughts & flooding too
I've found that "hot" and "cool" have radically different interpretations, depending on where you are from! A few places in Australia do get snow. Our coldest state is Tasmania which is an island to the SE of the continent 18% of Aus is desert but 70% of is regarded as arid or semi arid.
With all due respect, I believe that you are already in a police state. I think however there is still a chance that America can still claw their way back to democracy. I certainly hope that is the case.

About half the wildflower seeds I planted around the tree on my verge came up, but not on the shady side, where I think the birds ate them! I used a different mix of seeds in a weeded, dug up area of the verge. Some have come up, hidden in the grass. I'm buying more seeds to fill the gaps!

Five times is crazy. I don't know what kind of work you do, or whether you own the house, but the break-ins seem unlikely to stop If it is a small community, then it is likely that everyone knows what's happening. I assume that the police know too. Are the offenders children?
Your post made me wonder why some of these people are so insecure that they can't cope with living in a world with people who are different from themself? Another option would be that they are just parroting someone else. If this is the case, why are they unable to think for themselves?
Had you considered that your unhappiness may be lightened, when you see how many really good, decent people there are on Bluesky? And if there are so many good, caring people on Bluesky, then don't you think that it's likely that a good portion of the community are the same?
If you are determined to promote yourself because you are feeling insecure regarding your intellect, your character, your age and your appearance ... Why would you choose to be painted looking so dejected and woebegone?
