The Reds team leader in HR has hit 1 HR in the last 60 games and yet there is still only 1 other Red within 6 HR of him.

Sure. I'm working under the assumption that Stewart is on the OD roster next year. There are certainly scenarios where this time can change his free agency date, but I was trying to keep it simple.

I don't know exactly what you're saying, but there isn't any significance from a service time perspective to him getting called up today vs 2 weeks ago. It wouldn't affect arb eligibility or free agency timing in any way.

The thing I don't get about Elly's season is that they've been open about him nursing a quad injury all season, but not once have they given him a game off. Even with him being mediocre to bad for most of the 2nd half. It makes no sense.
So Elly CAN be put at DH for a game.

I don't think they dropped it on purpose. It was a borderline infield fly, but the home plate umpire clearly called it. Reds just messed up and then the Cardinals let them out of it.
