Video games allow me to enjoy new experiences and bring me a sense of joy. They’ve helped me develop skills, learn about new worlds, and meet people. They also give me an escape when needed. I can’t imagine with my life would be like without video games because they’re so woven into my life.

Being able to hold down the fort so my wife could go back to school has been difficult and exhausting, but seeing her get that bachelor’s degree with honors made it all worth it. ☺️ I’m currently working my way towards a promotion while she looks for a job now that’s she’s graduated.

I love these Directs whether I get new games for me to play or not it's so cool just seeing everyone hyping up and coming together to see their favorite games or experiencing new ones for the first time. That joy is unmatchable. I hope everyone got something to love💖😁
Same. These games are amazing, but $70 is steep especially when Galaxy 1 was already released on Switch, granted only for a limited time. $40 is a lot too but that’s an easy pill for me to swallow since we haven’t gotten 2 yet. That’s and it’s my favorite one.

Three Houses, while different from the rest of the series is a solid entry point. If you don’t want to buy a game through the GBA games are available and Radiant Dawn (the GameCube game) will be coming at some point. I never had a chance to play that one.
The accessory being required made me go from “I guess I can check this out” to “absolutely not” real quick 😅

Dammit Nintendo I didn’t need more stuff to play. That direct was amazing. 🥰😭 Standouts announcements for me: Galaxy 2, Mario Tennis Fever, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, and Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave. The new trailers for Age of Imprisonment, Prime 4, Pokemon ZA, and RE9 were nice too.

I get it. I got turned off mosh pits about 10 years ago thanks to Sleeping With Sirens at Warped Tour. That was an awful experience 😂 Definitely get seats if you can. You can still stand and enjoy yourself without dealing with people.

At a stadium show you’d be perfectly fine if you have a seat. Anyone who wants to mosh will be in standing section closing to the stage, and even in those sections you can avoid the crowd by just standing further back.
A little insanity in moderation doesn’t hurt. It could even help you heal. In all seriousness, we all have those days, and things will get better for you em. You got this.

That day just happened to be our release day from school (pure coincidence). I went home saw my dad watching the news and knew something was wrong. Then I went to my room to watch my shows, and it was on every channel. I knew then and there this wasn’t normal. It felt eerie.
Assholes exist here too, but they’re far fewer in number and can be easily blocked. I deleted Twitter because it pissed me off to use. This site I actually want to be active. Are there less people here? Yes, but I always say quality > quantity.

Today is a day I still vividly remember even though I was only 9. There’s a lot I could say, but I’ll just leave it at this. Always hold those you love close, because you never know what could happen. 24 years later and I still haven’t forgotten the lives we lost.

The better advice is to be yourself. Having similar hobbies is nice but by no means so that be a deal breaker. Personally my wife and I share some hobbies and not others. Strikes a nice balance between spending time together and on our own.
My first game was Sonic 1, so we’re not too far off. Oddly enough I grew up playing mostly Nintendo so people IRL have found it odd I started with Sega.
